Assessment
This section of the EUCEBS website shows the project developments in the areas of online testing, portfolio assessment and the use of "complex scenarios". You are able to view the online tests or login as a guest to the e-portfolio and view an example learner e-portfolio.
Online Tests
The tests in the domains of numeracy and ICT can be conducted online using commercial software and also systems developed by partners and their collaborators. These tests are objective and use multiple choice formats.
e-portfolio
Our e-portfolio is a tool to enable learners, trainers and assessors to work with the same digital files demonstrating competences in the six EUCEBS domains. The learner has control over what work is uploaded, edited, deleted or offered for review or for assessment.
Evidencing multiple competencies using 'real life' examples
We have devised a set of "real life examples" in addition to the more granular tests of individual competences in the EUCEBS domains. These scenarios show how a complex, everyday series of linked tasks can be used by learners to show their competences in multiple domains or elements of a single domain, or could be used by assessors or trainers to set real-life tasks for the candidates.
